ABSTRACT

Realistic models are the heart and soul of any mathematics course. In most first- and second-year mathematics courses, there are a multitude of topics where real-world models can be integrated into the curriculum. We demonstrate how to use modern-day technology to develop models that stimulate interest in the mathematics being studied.
