ABSTRACT

Mathematically modeling collisions between objects is a common problem seen in many courses. The problem can be simplified and studied in trigonometry or analyzed in detail in higher-level courses. JavaScript, a scripting language for writing programs that run on web pages, will be used to allow students to run simulations of their results. The problem will be studied at a level suitable for students from trigonometry to linear algebra.
