ABSTRACT

We present several laboratory projects designed for the calculus sequence for the biology and pre-med students. These activities integrate mathematical and biological reasoning, which prepares the students for future course work in biology. This motivates students to understand the importance of mathematics in biology and hopefully study more mathematics.
