ABSTRACT

Tests for the divisibility of an integer by 3, 5, 7, and 11 are well known. We focus on the role played by CAS technology in resolving integer divisibility by other primes including 37, 41, 73, and 101. In addition, the CAS together with modular arithmetic are employed to secure prime divisors in the sequence 11, 101, 1001, 10001... first studied in 1854
