ABSTRACT

The Geometry Forum was established in 1992 to serve as an Internet newsreader service focused on geometry content. There are different groups within The Geometry Forum that focus on pre-college, college, and research interest groups. There is also a group established for the exchange of interesting geometry problems. The Geometry Forum was established through an NSF grant directed by Eugene Klotz at Swarthmore College in Swarthmore, PA.

The poster session will be a demonstration session to show how to get on The Geometry Forum, and how to read the different groups. Demonstration of ways to access The Geometry Forum through World Wide Web will also be included. There will be discussions related to how The Geometry Forum is currently being used, who is using it, and how to become a user. Possible classroom applications will also be addressed. Questions will be answered at any time during the session. Examples of past and present activity using The Geometry Forum will be available.
