ABSTRACT

Almost all books in pre-calculus and calculus do not give the student a specific outline on how to graph polynomials and rational functions. This paper delineates a mechanical step-by-step procedure (in a PowerPoint presentation) on how to graph polynomial/rational functions without a hitch. Two examples will be demonstrated with the use and verification of the TI-83 calculator.
