ABSTRACT

User interfaces allow students to be exposed to commercial packages in the sciences without requiring students to read or write code. Additionally, visualization of concepts captures the attention of students. Creating user interfaces in Maple or MATLAB are discussed and applications to concepts in calculus are shown.
