ABSTRACT

In a geometry course we use a course management system, Oncourse, to help collaboration among students. Geometer's Sketchpad explorations are required. We present explorations of the golden ratio by a group of students fascinated by the symmetry of five-pointed stars. We conclude with a re-creation of an Escher drawing.
