ABSTRACT

At the University of Georgia, some 1200 students take precalculus each semester. We use WebAssign to deliver both practice and graded assignments. We also use WebAssign for testing. An instructor of such a course within a multitude of sections is held to a strict timeframe, but their only assessment duties are in-class quizzes. The pluses and minuses of uniform assessment across 30+ sections are discussed, in addition to the administration duties of online assessment.
