Funny face Contest is a formative assessment activity on transforming functions. Having studied several parent functions, each fST (functions, statistics, and trigonometry) student was asked to create a unique 'funny face.' This paper examines students' creative work and their reflective comments. This is a sure activity to motivate the unmotivated!
