ABSTRACT

Science classes include a laboratory linking theoretical lectures to actual practice, and so students experience the 'real' science. The same is true for mathematics - the computer laboratory experience, with students as active participants in doing mathematics, complements the presentation of mathematical information in the classroom. The author presents a current assignment developed and fine-tuned over the last seven years.
