Visualizing Linear Algebra Applications With Matlab

ABSTRACT

Two common applications of linear algebra are population modeling and genetic traits. In both applications, powers of a matrix are used to describe the evolution of the system. The graphing capabilities of Matlab are used to create movies that illustrate this evolution over time.
