ABSTRACT

You will learn systematic problem-solving strategies that help students not only understand word problems with units, but to confidently formulate corresponding mathematical expressions. Using Internet technologies and new concepts of 'unified numbers' (involving quantities, units, and dimensions), students can sequentially combine 'unified components' together to construct a mathematical model.
