ABSTRACT

All incoming freshmen taking any precalculus or lower level mathematics courses are required to use the TI-83 graphing calculator. These activities were designed to give teachers some examples of ways in which to incorporate technology into their traditional courses. These activities were designed for a college algebra course using a functional approach that includes mathematical modeling of real data and business applications.
