ABSTRACT

If a picture is worth a thousand words, an animation is worth a megabyte. Using Maple, students without programming expertise can create and explore animations. We are developing procedures for generating animations that illustrate topics from calculus and linear algebra. The procedures can be used as classroom demonstrations, but are intended for use in laboratory projects.
