The sequence recursively defined by is often called the Pell Sequence or Fibonacci sequence of order two. In this paper, the TI-89 and Mathematica 8.0 enables one to examine ratios of successive terms, explore divisibility and periodicity, furnish early prime outputs and provide algebraic proofs of palatable number tricks.
