The installation of computers in the Mathematics Learning
Center at Wright State University provided access to mathematical

mathematics in powerful ways, the utilities sometimes demonstrated
limitations that thwarted students. Five of these weaknesses, which lead
to ambiguous or incorrect results, are described.
