Redesigning Algebra Courses: From Implementation to Results

ABSTRACT

We discuss the techniques a large community college uses in its redesigned developmental and college level algebra courses. The redesign incorporates in-class video lessons, class worksheets, and lecture notes embedded within an online learning management system. Students practice within a web-based mastery learning system. Success rates are discussed.
