ABSTRACT

Our senior mathematics course in Complex Variables uses Excel and Maple for complex arithmetic and mappings. Maple is used to produce code to use in Excel, to animate plots as roots are varied, to find Laurent Series, residues, singularities, zeros and real integrals.
