ABSTRACT

This paper reflects on several innovative uses of spreadsheets with pre-service teachers of mathematics that have a potential to provide the teachers with a research-like experience needed for successful teaching at the secondary school level and can result in their appreciation of mathematical concepts as tools in computing applications.
