ABSTRACT

Numerical analysis courses always have a unit on polynomial interpolation and approximation, although much of this topic is anticipated in precalculus, calculus, and linear algebra courses. We explore the features of the TI-89 that make it an excellent environment to explore polynomials at all of these levels.
