Creating Pictures in Excel to Motivate the Learning of Functions

ABSTRACT

This presentation will discuss how to create fun and interesting pictures in Excel by graphing functions. The pictures can be used to motivate students to learn more about various functions and promote students' understanding of function characteristics. Handouts will be provided with a variety of pictures that can be recreated in Excel for use in the classroom.
